Faculty of Foreign Languages and Cultures, established in 2022, offers 2 training programs: Korean Language Program and English Language Program . The Faculty of Foreign Languages and Cultures’ teaching staffs consist of qualified lecturers who have obtained PhD and Master degrees from the prestigious domestic and international universities.

DESCRIPTION OF UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM IN KOREAN LANGUAGE
1. The general introduction of educational program
The design of Undergraduate program in Korean language is based on a 131-credit system consists of General Knowledge and Professional Knowledge Block. The Professional Knowledge Block includes Foundation Knowledge Module, Professional Knowledge Module, Supplementary Knowledge Module, Internship and Bachelor Thesis (or alternative courses).

2. Objectives of Training Program
2.1 Overall objective
The Bachelor of Arts in Korean program aims to equip students with professional skills, political qualities, professional ethics, and good health; master and apply specialized knowledge to professional practices; be able to adapt to changes in professional expertise, develop the ability to work cooperatively, apply critical thinking skills to solve profession-related problems. Moreover, the undergraduate program helps students develop their self-study and research skills to ensure the ability to study further and become successful lifelong learners
2.2. Specific objectives
The Bachelor of Arts in Korean program aims to equip students with:
2.2.1 Basic knowledge of Information Technology, foreign languages, economics, political theory, National defense.
2.2.2 Theoretical and practical knowledge of the Korean language system in relation to professional activities of Korean Language Teacher Education, Korean for Translations and Interpretations, Korean for Business and Korean for Tourism.
2.2.3 The development of critical thinking and problem solving skills.
2.2.4 The development of cognitive and the interpersonal skills required to perform learners’ professional tasks relevant to career positions.
2.2.5 Professional and interpersonal skills in relation to particular majors such as Korean Language Teacher Education, Korean for Translations and Interpretations, Korean for Business and Korean for Tourism.
2.2.6 A sense of responsibility towards themselves, their community and professional ethics.
2.2.7 A sense of involvement in community services and enable students to become lifelong learners.
